WHO SHOULD JOIN?

Supply chain practitioners, company executives, government procurement officers, students of business and others interested in well managed, transparent and fair procurement practices. Various categories are outlined below.

Registration Categories

a. Student Member
This class of membership is open to individuals with little or no practical procurement and supply chain management experience who are pursuing academic or professional studies at accredited institutions. The student member should be working towards full membership.

b. Associate Member
This class of membership is for those with experience in procurement and supply chain management practitioners and those with certificate level qualification working towards attainment of final qualifications. 

c. Full Member
The class of full membership is for individuals who have completed a course of professional study in procurement and supply chain management from an accredited institution. The professional qualification of a Full Member is a graduate diploma in procurement and supply chain management from an accredited institution. 

d. Affiliate member
Category for individuals who have strong interest in professionally managed supply chains but who do not wish to become professionally qualified themselves. Affiliate members can keep upto date with current thinking and trends and participate to influence KISM policies. There are no entry requirements for this class of membership.

e. Fellow
The awarding of a Fellow class is to Full Members with significant experience in procurement and supply chain management and who have made a significant contribution to the Institute in a general or specific way. The award process is by recommendation by Interim Council members and is subject to approval by the Interim Council.

1. Student Member        Kshs 500.00
2. Associate Member     Kshs 3 500.00
3. Full Member              Kshs 3 500.00
4. Affiliate Member        Kshs 1 500.00
5. Fellow Member          Kshs 5000.00
6. Corporate Member    Kshs 25 000.00

NB. Administration fee Kshs 500.00 is payable for first time registration.
