KISM MEMBERSHIP
The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management envisages being the National body in procurement and supply chain management in Kenya. Procurement professionals and all who are interested in the profession should identify themselves with KISM by becoming members of the institute.
HOW DO YOU IDENTIFY THE INSTITUTE
- Register as a member of the Institute. The fee you pay and your annual subscriptions will enable the institute to meet basic operational needs
- Spread word about KISM and encourage your friends and colleagues to join the Institute
- Attend KISM meetings and offer your contribution
- Defend the Institute at all times so that it can withstand the bad intentions from those who wish the procurement profession ill
- Finally, offer the Institute any relevant information or literature that you consider beneficial to the suppliers profession
ACTIVITIES AND UPCOMING EVENTS TO PROMOTE THE INSTITUTE
- Members Annual Conference June 2010
- Planning the Resource Centre
- Running seminars/workshops and stakeholders meetings throughout the country in which virtues of the Institute are proclaimed.
- Holding AGMs and other meetings at which officials are elected and business transacted.
- Continuous recruitment drives to enroll Individual and Corporate members.
- Membership presentations to Universities and Colleges.
- Annual Members Dinner November 2010
