INTRODUCING KISM
The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management aims "To promote the Procurement and Supplies Management profession in Kenya" by promoting ethical practices in procurement and supplies management both in the private and public sectors through a strict ethical code".
KISM Achievements
- Sponsoring the Supply Chain Management category in COYA
- Receipt of DIT registration on 27th July
- Seven successful workshops and seminars. Joint workshops with KACC and IPAR.
- One In-house training ( several proposals still pending)
- Several breakfast meeting with professional organisations and media
- Launch of the KISM website
- Significant increase in individual and corporate membership
- Several Corporate presentations in Nairobi and Mombasa
- Successful Press conference and Public Forum on the Bill and Act
- Participation in the drafting of the Country Paper for the Millennium Challenge- in the M&E component
