Introducing KISM
The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is a professional association registered under the Societies Act in 1976.
It brings together all those engaged in activities that involve procurement and supply chain management functions.
The Institute's overriding task is to nurture and build the supply chain management profession, all the while instilling discipline, ethics and order in the practice of this function within the private and public procurement sectors in Kenya.
This first strategic plan is meant to refocus the Institute's attention to enhancing supply chain management professionalism in Kenya.
Our Vision
The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management envisages being the National body in procurement and supply chain management in Kenya.
This would mean that KISM would regulate the procurement profession in Kenya, in-conjunction with the PPD, being the leading supply chain professional association and trainer in Kenya that instills discipline and enhances ethical practices in both the private and public sectors.
